I was only looking for a pair of shoes that I was certain were in my closet. My husband and I went back and forth about these shoes being lost in a pile of abyss, with him insisting that I install a closet organizer and perhaps clean it up a little to make things easier for myself. I didn't think that I really needed a closet organizer so much, but after searching and searching for those shoes to no avail, I decided to give the idea some thought.

A few days later, our dog happened to find that elusive pair of shoes in my closet, underneath a pile of gym clothes and other shoes. My husband was right, and I was completely embarrassed. I always felt that if I knew where the item was, then the item wasn't lost. He didn't agree really, and I see now that he was right. So, I gave in and got a complete closet organizer to put everything right. I'm glad I did. Things really are much easier for me now. No more lost shoes, and no more dog retrieval shoe units finding them for me. I suppose then what my husband said was right, closet organization would be a good thing for me. He of course enjoyed knowing that he was!
