There is nothing better when getting dressed in the morning than to be able to find a pair of shoes that match each other and the outfit I am wearing that day. Have you ever known someone who got dressed in the dark and grabbed one black and one navy shoe? I have learned to avoid that embarrassing situation by using a closet organizer for my shoes.

My closet organizer for shoes is actually built into the closet itself. The closet organizer is against one entire wall and consists of twenty-four separate cubby holes that hold one pair of shoes each. The shoes fit in the closet organizer nicely with extra room to prevent scuffs.
 
I have been known to get a little crazy about my organization and thusly my shoes are in the closet organizer cubby holes by color and season. The left and upper part contains summer shoes, the middle dress shoes and the lower winter or enclosed shoes. Each category of shoe begins with the lightest shade or color and works its way to the darkest. That is how my closet organizer keeps me on track when picking out shoes in the morning even if I should happen to dress in the dark!
