Over the weekend I did some serious closet organization and found a whole bunch of clothes I will never wear again, but don't want to trash, so I put a huge pile of them in the trunk of my car to drop off at the nearest hospital for them to use. It's amazing to learn that hospitals need women's clothing for some of their patients, but they do. My sister used to be an ER nurse, and she said that when people come in with injuries and their clothes are stained or dirty, the hospital loves to be able to provide them with street clothes to go back home in. Each weekend for the next month, I'm going to go do closet organization for each closet and hopefully, I'll be able to bring a trunk full of useful clothing for the hospitals. Not throwing away the clothes is one of the greenest things I can do, and we are all doing our part to reduce waste and recycle. If others can benefit from what's in my closets, then I'm a happy camper. I will be known around the house from now on as the chief closet organizer. closet organization, closet organizer
